As a Nutrition Coach, I believe that dietary changes should be simple and gradual at first. This gives the body (and the brain) ample time to adapt to the new way of eating as well as nutrients that are introduced.

 

Just like in fitness, there is no ‘one-size-fits-all’ and each individual has very specific needs.

 

My goal is to educate you on how to eat whole food that is both natural and nutritious - but most importantly - that is right for you!

I use a Whole Food/Paleo eating template, allowing room for individualization if necessary, such as plant-based diets, dairy/gluten intolerance and cultural background (i.e.

Asian/Western/Indian cuisine).

 

Here is how I structure your journey:

 

  • Upon initial enquiry - I schedule a complimentary phone/Skype call during which you outline your goals and what you need my help with and I explain my approach to nutrition and coaching; we work together to outline our expectations of each other for the program. This is also an opportunity for you to ask any questions before proceeding;

 

  • Next - I gather information on your current eating habits and lifestyle through confidential questionnaires (including a 3-day food journal) that I will email to you;

 

  • Session 1 - Initial Consultation. During this session we meet to review your eating habits, health concerns, lifestyle choices, kitchen set up and personal goals based on the food journal and the other questionnaires that you have completed before our meeting. I then provide the first suggestions on how to get started on improving your diet and lifestyle;

 

  • Sessions 2 to 5/10 - Check-up Consultations. From here, we meet every 2-3 weeks (for a total of 5 or 10 sessions) for check ups. During these sessions, I will monitor your progress and your new eating habits. I then provide adjustments where needed.

 

Additionally, I offer the following services:

 

  • I can come to your house and set up your kitchen, "raid" your pantry and fridge, explain what foods should and shouldn't be kept in the house.

 

  • I can teach you the basics skills necessary to prepare, cook and store food according to your customized eating program.

 

  • I can take you grocery shopping at the supermarket of your choice and educate you on what produce to buy according to your goals, body type, kitchen set up and palate.

 

Skype consultations are available if a client travels extensively or lives outside Los Angeles.
