A simple trick to eat clean when you are pressed for time

Today I want to share with you one of my top tips to ensure that you have a source of clean food at home ready for when you are either pressed for time or were not planning to cook ... and it is to keep some good quality already-cooked FROZEN meats in your freezer at all times.

My first choice is Applegate Organics sausages. They are fully cooked, so all I have to do it take them out of the freezer and place them straight into a frying pan for 10 minutes till they fully thaw.

Not only do these sausages taste great, but they are made with humanely raised, organic meats. They contain only a handful of real food ingredients and are both gluten and casein free.

Applegate has a wide range of products, including already-cooked frozen burgers, which are really nice for breakfast!

Today I was planning on being out for lunch, but my schedule changed at the last minute and I found myself heading home earlier. I knew I had some leftover roasted broccoli from last night and some cherry tomatoes (I seasoned the veggies with a bit of salt, pepper and organic extra virgin olive oil, which provides good fats and wonderful compounds to improve our immune system). I added some beetroot sauerkraut - which not only does pair well with sausages, but also provides good probiotics for your gut - and voilá: lunch ready in 10 minutes!
